Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) Education
At British International School Cabo Verde (BISCV), PSHE is central to how we support each pupil’s personal development and wellbeing.
Through our PSHE programme, pupils develop the knowledge, confidence, and values needed to lead healthy lives, build positive relationships, and navigate the wider world with understanding and responsibility.
Our curriculum, guided by UK best practice and adapted to the context of Cabo Verde, focuses on three key areas:
- Health and Wellbeing – promoting physical health, emotional resilience, and balanced lifestyles
- Relationships – developing respect, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
- Living in the Wider World – preparing pupils to become informed, responsible, and globally minded individuals
Delivered in a safe and supportive environment, PSHE at BISCV encourages open discussion, reflection, and personal growth.
We believe that a strong PSHE foundation not only enhances academic success, but also shapes confident, compassionate, and capable young people.
